ABOUT ORIT LEIBO

Orit Leibo, born in Tel-Aviv, is a graduate of H.I.T., The Holon Institute of Technology, Israel, (B.Sc.T.E). She extended her range of design by further training in gold and silver crafting, glass, flame work, felt matting and compressing.
Orit’s jewellery is sold both locally in her studio in Israel as well as in a wide range of countries abroad. Every single piece is entirely hand-made and created with a rich variation of materials resulting in unique, state of the art ornaments.
Orit felts scarves from Australian Marino wool woven on different silks and combined with natural silk threads as well as banana and flax fibers among others. The scarves are dyed in the Ecoprint method with a variation of leaves.

INSPIRATION

Various ethnic cultures inspire Orit and the depth she applies to the design of her jewellery collections result in a soft, colorful and dynamic flow which represent her work.

The materials she uses are solely organic and shaped to echo nature; her jewellery pieces are distinguished by amoebic and organic shapes.
